We want to keep it real. We understand there is one
The Who
Over those thousand of years beautiful Asian faces have been shaped with higher cheekbones and a shallower nose bridge.
Note** These products have also been shown to be effective in fitting people with smaller faces like kids and women.
The Problem
- The majority of goggles in the USA market are not tailored to fit these facial features.
- We’ve spoken to many Asian snowboarders who are not aware that these products are available to them.
- Marketing behind low bridge specific goggles products is minimal with even the largest manufacturers stocking very little selection in the north american market.
- We’ve spoken to many Asian snowboarders who are not aware that these products are available to them.
- Access to these products is limited. With 99% of shop owners and buyers being non-asian heritage there seems to be a hesitation in purchasing and selling low-bridge goggles.
The Answer
Low Bridge Goggles have more face foam in key areas around the nose bridge to alleviate air gaps and ensure a secure fit to reduce fogging.
The Goal:
Regardless of the name our goal is to help the right people to have access to the right fitting products to provide them with the best experience possible when snowboarding. If you have ever snowboarded with goggles that don’t fit your face properly you know bad it can ruin even the best days snowboarding.. As a community we would like to be the bridge between these products and the customers within our community.
Extra! Did you know?
In Goggles, Low Bridge Fit = Soy Sauce Nation Fit
In Helmets, Round fit = Soy Sauce Nation Fit
Similar to goggles, helmets also are offering in a Round Fit. If you identify with SSN we recommend you seek these products out as a comparison to traditional fits of helmets. Round fit is exactly as it’s implied - a fit that is rounder and not as long compared to a traditional fit that can be narrow and long from the forehead to the back of the head.
